SAFE STREETS ANALYSIS
Yuba City is developing a comprehensive Systemic Safety Analysis Report (SSAR), a.k.a Safe Streets Analysis, to evaluate multiple arterial and collector corridors throughout the City that have a history of fatal or severe injury collisions. This program will help the City develop traffic safety improvements that would enhance safety for all transportation modes and for people of all ages and abilities.
Focusing primarily on 4 E’s – Education, Enforcement, Engineering, and Emergency Medical Response, the SSAR (a.k.a. Safe Streets Analysis) will develop effective improvements in all four areas with input and active participation from stakeholders and City residents.
We are currently scheduling venues and the best times for each of the community workshops. Please kindly check back regarding the upcoming event location, date, and time, or subscribe to receive notifications!
